As the publication of literature increased day by day the need or necessity of library was felt and implemented in the form of library. "Library is the essential part of human society ".

In Social Mental Development the place of library is and its benefits are count less.

Dr. Vijai Lall Smiriti Mahavidyalaya was established in the year 2000. At the beginning of the college the total strength of the students were 10 and the books present at that time in the library were 100 i.e., the average was 10 books per student. But , as the time passed library got enriched with vivid variety of books and now it has sufficient amount of collection books on each subject. The aim of our library is to make the student self-dependent in the field of knowledge and to acquire the quality of self-study in them. A rich library is the strong foundation of any educational institute. The library of our college is also a rich library. At present there are 10000 approximate books on different subjects are available in library.

The infrastructure of our library hall is 20x50 sq. feet, besides

There is a comfortable sitting arrangement for student’s and teacher’s. There is proper ventilation and light arrangement too.

The library staff is also sufficient in quantity.
